So i finally got my truck back. Had it shipped to me. Anyways i wanted to take off that ugly molding that goes around the bottom of my ride, you know that plastic that comes on Z71's.

I decided to start with a small piece in the rear. I pull it off and this is what i find.

I would like to take all that stuff off but i dont have the funds to have all that body work done. Anybody ever do this? Anyone know how much something like this would cost?

You should put it back on and color match the molding. That's I am going to do.

Yeah i put it back on. Color matched is nat a bad idea. The only thing i see that might cause a problem is that s**t is textured.

You'd have to use a high build primer until the surface is level and then color match it or it will look like crap.

I think I'm going to just suck it up and deal wit it. I don't think it looks to bad but I think it would look better with out it. It's really clean/ no scratchs soo. Maybe I can get the nerf bars painted black.

Color match it, I have seen it done on a few avalanches and they have the same textured front bumpers and rear mouldings
