Pretty simple question. Here's what I got...

04 Z71
Bose w/ XM and integrated 6 disc changer.

I've found many reviews on the PXAMG, but not so much on the USA Spec PA15-GM. The guys at Car Toys recommend the USA Spec over the PXAMG, but it wasn't a hands down type thing. They said they both do the same thing, except the PXAMG would require an additional harness that would cost extra whereas the USA Spec PA15-GM has the harness in the kit.

What do you guys think? Both about the same price and I think I can actually get the GM specific PXAMG kit from Best Buy for the same price...

Gonna get this tomorrow morning so hopefully I can get some of yall to chime in.

Thanks,

Andy

been researchin for a few hours now... still unsure of which route to take... leaning towards the USA Spec, really only cuz it comes with the vehicle specific harness at no extra cost.

I ended up getting the USA Spec PA15-GM. Took about 15 minutes to install and route the cables. It tucked up nicely on top of the XM receiver. I like the ability to control the iPod while having it plugged in. It is alot quicker to do it this way than navigating the artists or whatnot thru the radio controls. Steering wheel controls work with it, the text will display on the radio which is cool, and it seems like a pretty solid setup. WAY worth it as opposed to buying a new HU and all the damn modules to retain Onstar and chimes and XM.
