So, when I bought my truck, I assumed it had a USB port in the console. I can't seem to find it. What year did they start doing that? Mine is a 2007.

Also, can anyone recommend a good plug-n-play IPod adapter for my truck that has NAV and XM?

Thanks

I think it was 2010. My June 2009 build doesn't have USB. I wish.

Do you know if your radio has it in the back?

Maybe just didn't come with the option to have the cable ran from the radio to the console...

(I have no idea, that's why I'm asking)

I've got a 07 tahoe that I want to add navigation too. Can I put in a deck from a 09-`11 with the usb supported ipod connection or do I have to stay with one from a 07 - 08 model nav unit?

You can get the 2012 one with hard disc based navigation. Someone on here has done the upgrade. Can't remember who though...
