Using OnStar interface for phone

Is there anyway to tap into the On Star interface (the mic above the driver seat - at least I think that is what it is) and pushing the sound through the speakers with a cell phone either through Bluetooth or some other means? I have a 2000 Tahoe with On Star and I don't use the On Star.

I thought of using a Parrot. the old Onstar I'm sure it can be gutted and using the parrot's output's to replace the the Onstars output's into the factory system. Also the factory mic isn't that great.

not that this helps you - but the microphone is in the area by your sun visor on the area with the map lights.. that thing above you is for your auto HVAC system.

I have it. It works ok, can be tweaked with a pc for mic gain and audio quality. Other than that, ridiculously plug and play.
