Does anybody have a how to or a vid on replacing these seals on the 5.3? lookin at tackling this soon..

all i can see doin in removing the coil pack retainers and then removing the covers... im also wondering on the tightening sequence for the valve covers.. is it from the middle out? or outside to middle?

yup, just make sure the area where the new gaskets go are clean...tighten in small increments, from middle out.

hey ozie... sorry i havent gotten back to ya sooner on this... yes i was able to do mine on my own.... the best thing for u to do on this is first unplug the all the wires goin to your coil packs.... removes the coil packs on both sides that are the closest to the fire wall.... now remove all the nuts that hold down the the coil pack cage to the valve cover then lay them aside.. mke sure u remember what side went to which side... then u just remove the valve cover after a few bolts and its wham bam ty ma'am.. just tke ur time and dont go tugging on anything
