Well i need to pull my servo back out to see if i ripped something because i dont have 2nd gear after the shift kit/servo/motor swap..the damn servo is so close to the floor of the truck though..has anyone done it with it in the truck? maybe drop the x member and see if it drops down a little bit idk

also will a lot of fluid pour out or just a little bit? i dont really wanna spend another 45 on trans fluid lol

I installed my corvette servo with the trans in the truck...had to remove that heat sheild to get better access. Not too much tranny fluid comes out with it either, i don't think i needed to add anywhere near a quart after the install

yes the servo comes out in 2 pieces if memory serves me right... took me like 30 min to do...and it would have been done in less time if i could have got the darn cover and snap ring back in right away.

I did mine and my brother's with the trans in the truck and w/o having to unbolt or move anything. Hardest part was getting the snap ring back in, but even that wasn't too bad.
So I take it you haven't really had a chance to test drive your new motor yet?

Did my vette servo yesterday with the tranny still in place. Took about 30 minutes, but I had a lift with 2 mechanics working on it with me (my father and his co-worker)
