Hey guys, got an issue.
2004 LT 4wd Tahoe has a vibration issue.

Not sure what it is.
Vibration only occurs between 60-75mph, any faster or slower I cannot feel it.
Feels like it is in the steering wheel and my seat.

I have recently done the:

  • Inner and Outter tie rod ends
  • Replaced the idler & pitman arm
  • Balance
  • Alignment
  • (Tranny was replaced 8 months ago)
  • Front drive shaft u-joints are solid.
  • Front drift shaft is solid and doesn't move oddly.
  • Also has new shocks

I am going to
  • Rotate the tires
  • Rebalance the tires (probably road force balance)

Anybody have any ideas of what this could be?

More than likely it's the tires or the drive shaft. Tires could be balled inside.

Tires are good, I just got them 4k miles ago.

I was looking at the driveshaft earlier, everything was tight.
I guess if it doesn't go away after the rotation/roadforce balance
I will remove the front drive shaft and drive around to see if that helps,
then I will get it rebuilt.
