Vibration, clicking noise in left front

I have a new noise in my 2006 Z71 Tahoe. It seems to only happen from a complete or near complete stop. There is a short duration vibration and I can hear a clicking noise at the same time. The sound goes away after a few seconds and does not occur again until the vehicle again re accelerates from a stop.
The funny thing is the vibration almost sounds like some kind of actuator moving and the clicking resembles a noise you hear when the flaps close and open in your heating cooling system. The vibration is strong enough that I can feel it in my left foot thru the floorboard. I have checked all fluids and they are up.
Any ideas on where to start looking? Thanks.. Gary

Does turning one way or the other make any difference?

Driveshaft or axles problem maybe. Complete underneath inspection is needed.

sounds like one the abs sensor's is giving erratic data to the computer which causes the abs pump to freak out and pulsate, normally this is caused by a worn wheel hub I would recommend checking both your front wheel hubs for play, you can jack up the front end so the wheels are off the ground then grab the wheel at 12 & 6 and see if it wiggles at all (should be no movement) then you can also grab the wheel at 3 & 9 there will be a slight play at this angle because of the steering but it should not be excessive. you can also spin the wheel and listen for any weird noises or grinding sounds or see if there is a significant difference in the amount of spin rotation you get from left & right sides. Otherwise you will need a scanner capable of reading live data from the abs sensors and monitor the sensors while driving and coming to a stop.

154,000 on truck. It happened once when turning when coming into an intersection from a stop, but it is mostly noticed when accelerating from a complete stop.

This is what came to mind while driving. It is always after a stop but goes away when the vehicle is at speed. I will check for wheel bearing slop. Thank you.
