So I am trading my 07 Denali in for an 04 Z71 Suburban at the end of the week. Cherry Z71, lower miles, and I am getting a BOATLOAD of cash back.
My question is this. I have a Volant CAI on my 6.2 Denali. There are different part numbers for the 5.3, but these things look identical.
Does anyone know if I can swap it over without too much hastle? I am mechanically inclined and have any tools that may be necessary.
Thanks gentlemen.
Brandon

Looks like I have a for sale thread pending then for a brand new Volant CAI for a 6.2. So I can buy a new one. Anthony, how is the Brute force?? I like the volant for the sealed box and the look.

I got mine for under $100 on eBay, can't beat the price and it looks sweet. If I was rich and had a ton more money I would def. have volant, i just can';t justify cost for same performance gains. :imo:

Says the man with Corsa exhaust!:joke:

The more that I look at the Volant for the 2004 and the one that I have, the more they look the same. I am sure that there are slight differences but I am sure that it would be a useless excercise to try and make it fit. I may look up this brute force.

Justin and Jenna have done some dyno testing and last I heard the AEM Brute force netted the biggest gains out of all the big name intakes FYI
