I purchased a used 2005 Suburban...which I Iove....however it had a replacement cluster installed. I believe this cluster was from a different year or different model....so it has a service brake booster message.

Would either of these tools allow me to update the cluster programming to fix this? I'm looking for an extra excuse to buy one :)

I cannot say for sure, whether or not a Tech 2 would solve your current issue. Other members on this Forum that are much more knowledgeable in clusters than me will chime in.

However, the Tech 2 will cost you ~$300, and it will pay for itself within the first few uses to solve issues. I've literally save thousands of dollars, since purchasing my Tech 2.

My Tech 2 clone came in last night. Looking forward to getting into it. I will say, the case it comes in is good solid quality, and for only $50 or so more (when you factor shipping), I think it's worth it.
