The outer bands of Hurricane Alex has started to hit pretty hard in my town. Some streets are already flooding and the expressways are blocked off by police.

Good thing my mildly lifted Yukon is ready for anything!!

Stay safe south Texas members!!

Have fun and stay safe man...I wish we were going to get more rain out of it here in Brenham. I think we're only supposed to get 2" or so. I used to love going around camaros and hondas that had water on the floorboards when I had my old truck.

theres a lot of small towns with really bad drainage systems. poor people man, i hope theyre alright. and thats because we are being side swiped by the hurricane, i can imagine if it was a direct hit!

Damn. Careful out there man. We don't get hurricanes over here, so I can only imagine what that's like. We get earthquakes though. (I live on an overdue fault line)

Lol, yeah. Whenever there's a big quake in Japan, or Hawaii, we get a Tsunami warning, but nothing ever happens. I suppose I'd rather get a warning and nothing happen, than the other way.

Yeah, guys keep some good shit packed away just incase. Medical supplies, food, heat, and a nice break action shotgun with a rifled barrel and 12 gauge deer slugs!

lol, yeah supplies are always ready.
Including my Springfield XDM .40 cal and Spikes Tactical .223 AR-15 :D

Well, this morning I drove to work and saw the aftermath. Even though it wasnt a direct hit to us, a lot of streets and yards were under water. Cant imagine what a direct hit would do.
Alex made land fall as a Category 2 about 100 miles south of the Texas border and it did all this. Maybe cause it was the size of the Gulf of Mexico itself and was crawling at 7MPH it had more time at each place to cause damage.
God help those people it hit hard.

My brother and I are gonna try to hit some trails this afternoon. Ill try to get some pics up!
