Looking like I will need to hone my rods .002 to fit the floating pins. My buddy works at a machine shop,but they don't do engines, just these dies/cutting blades for some machine. But I'm fairly confident the guy that owns the place could do it. I will have to ask the machine shop what they would charge when I find out if my block is good

Machine shop called, and all is good with the block and heads.
Parts pile still growing, GM knock sensors, oil pressure sender, and cam sensor. Bunch of gaskets, oil pump, lifters, springs, valve guide hats, head bolts, barbell, rings, GM rear cover. This shit really adds up, lol.

I'm gonna do some research and get this block painted. Sprayed it down with WD-40 until I figure something out

Hard to clean silicone completely for paint! OOPs.

Piece of "lint" removed, #4 cam bearing in with permatex 640000 sleeve retainer. Bout to put sleve retainer on the rest for peace of mind.

Ordered BTR 11/32nds 7.375 pushrods and have the rockers torqued down now. Gonna toss one more coat of paint on these valve covers and then it will be time to start pulling the old engine.

Got the shed cleaned out this week, so I can move some of these webers out of my way. Need to get the truck turned around too.
My garage is trashed too lol, I'm kind of a hoarder.
