I recently had a new Pioneer HU installed with an "off brand" camera. I'm not impressed with the camera and was wondering if I was to get a different one could I just cut and splice?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Yukon rear applique and was thinking about adding an OEM camera when I do....is it possible?

I would like to get a camera that has the back up guides so I can hook up my ATV trailer by myself.

Yes you should be able to cut and splice. If you do, make sure it's inside the cabin area because it won't do good if you can't get a good sealed connection. I personally would just go ahead and run all new cable to the front. I have seen many times the issue is how the cable is ran if it's the cheapo camera.
