Was navigation and option in an 04 denali

I bought an 04 denali xl and it doesn't have the navigation radio. Was that an option? I thought all denalis came standard with it. Whats involved with installing the navigation radio?

Not sure if it is an option for you but my 06 Denali did not come with it standard.

I believe it was, but it wasnt a touch screen. You could pick up a TNR radio pretty cheap and its plug and play (if its a used radio, it may need to be unlocked at a dealer, usually $50-$100), just add the antenna and connect the VSS wire (vehicle speed sensor). Youre better off going aftermarket though, because the factory radio in those years doesnt have much to offer as far as features.

i would go aftermarket. dont waste your time with the OEM. touch screen started in 05 i believe. my 04 has it. its ok at best. but for the same money or a little more you can go with new aftermarket and be much more advanced.
