I am just having all sorts of issues after this winter. So I got my truck washed today and noticed moisture in my headlight. I know the headlight has been replaced due to an accident prior to me buying it. Is there anything I can do to tighten it up and keep the moisture out?

You are going to have to bake your lights in the oven to get them apart. Or cut them, but I am sure baking would be easier. Pull them apart and dry them out. Get all the old silicone out of the seal area and get some more silicone at walmart. Seal em up real nice and you should be good to go!

If its a nnbs tahoe baking will NOT WORK (trust me its a large headache) The tahoe lights are fused into eachother unlike all other headlights. A dremel or any other cutting wheel will need to be used. If its a yukon, an oven is the easy and fast way to re seal em up!

It is a nnbs, an 07. Isn't it also a huge pain in the ass to get the headlight out? I don't have a dremel tool. If the thing is so sealed up, how the hell does water get in there in the first place??

Not really to get it out, you have to undo every bold in that row, and there is 2 under the fender and you have to pull your bumper out a little bit to get them out but if they dont have any broken tabs or anything putting them in is stupidly difficult and fustrating. I dont know, you check for cracks or anything?

Put some baby oil on a clean rag and rub it all over the headlight. It absorbs the moisture. After a few times of doing this (I usually did when I washed the truck), the headlight will look like new again.

How does this help when the moisture is on the inside of the headlight?
