Not sure if this is the proper forum for this but...

When it rains water is getting inside my rear passenger door, it drains out the bottom but would like some help with why it's getting in there. Nothing leaking on the interior, so I'm assuming the leak is exterior just don't know where to start.

Thanks in advance for nay help.

It gets between the window and the black plastic trim. A little is normal and that's why there are drain holes. If it's collecting in there, the holes are plugged

Thank you, I'll check it out. Is the black plastic trim easily replaceable or is that a take apart the door kinda job?

roll the window down and pull up... very easy to come off (some say too easy and that's why a lot of water gets in)

Had this same problem recently. I washed my truck one day and then we had a big thunderstorm that night, because of course. The next day I was driving around and literally heard splashing inside my rear doors. Got home and parked on an incline and pulled back the plastic trim along the bottom of the doors and water POURED out.

Recently dropped my truck off at Carmax to have a few things taken care of (that's a whole other story) and they looked into the water problem. Ran it through the carwash a bunch of times and they couldn't recreate it so they said that the drains must have just gotten plugged and aren't plugged anymore. Works for me, as long as I don't hear SPLASHING inside my doors anymore.

TACO,

I recently had the same problem on the drivers rear of my truck and the dealership determined that the weatherstrip on the top of the door which is supposed to be touching the window wasnt. So all rain water was just running straight down into the door. Hope this helps!
