I have an 07 tahoe with a tow package. Bought a travel trailer today. Tounge is very low and fact hitch is super high. Looking at around an 7"-9" drop. Trailer is around 4400 lbs, TW is prob around 500 or so.
Any one know of a weight dist setup with this much drop?
Thanks Tom

etrailer.com is your friend

Check with the folks at etrailer.com. Unless your Tahoe has been lifted, you shouldn't need that much of a drop.

I had the same problem with my enclosed race car trailer, had to get an adjustable dropout shank. The 4" drop that I used with my old tow vehicle (BMW X5) is an inch too high. But I also have a Reese Dual Cam system that's adjustable. Set it up for a 5" drop and the trailer sits level. Most trailer builders use 19.5 - 20" as the standard for the trailer coupler from the ground to the bottom of the coupler. If yours is in that range you should be fine with a 5" drop.

If you want weight distributing, the Reese Dual Cam is a combined WD and sway control system. Makes a world of difference, though not cheap.

Just make sure you get a system with the correct amount of drop you need:
