99 four door. Driver window wouldn't go down. I could hear a relay click twice inside the switch box if I held the button down, but no window motor operation. I pulled the door panel off, pulled the black inner metal away a little bit so I could see the regulator. Looked fine. So I tried to operate the window again and it worked. Lubed the tracks, put it back together tried it again and it still works fine. But the switch assembly, if you hold the button down after the window gets to the bottom, clicks several times. Dunno if it did that before. I did spray the switch with electronics cleaner. Still works fine. But I am at a loss as to what might have happened lol. Regulator is fine, motor appears to be fine, my only thought possibly is the switch. Is that plausible? I just don't know what is inside there. Obviously a relay and a circuit board. Is the window supposed to be one touch up? Because it only does one touch down.

Moved your thread to interior , As for the problem Might be a sign your switch could be failing or your regulator. Did you make sure the switch was unplugged before you sprayed the EC in it?

Yes it was unplugged. Regulator looked ok. I didn't see anything busted on it.

i would guess switch or motor. the regulator on our trucks is built very well and even has replaceable parts on it (rollers and motor).
