I thought this would be a good place to get info on engine swaps.
I Got a 2000 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4 with a 5.3L (Lm7) engine.
My 5.3 (LM7) is dead and I want to swap to a 6.0 like LQ9. Which i've read is possible.
What I want to know from those who have experience is:
Q. Would any 6.0L GM engine swap straight over or only the LQ9?
There are around a dozen 6.0 gm engines out there could I use any block and head combination for the 6.0 swap.
