What all does TPMS control???

Does anybody know what all the tire pressure sensors control in my '05 Yukon?

Do they tell the computer when I'm spinning the tires? Do they tell the computer when I'm locking up the brakes??

Call me weird, but I'd like to have control over when I spin the tires and lock up my brakes - Was thinking that if I remove these sensors, then I would regain control of these functions... ???

The ONLY thing they do is tell the BCM the tire pressure

I had a tech at a shop swear to me that the abs brakes would quit working if you remove your tpms sensors...

Nope, you just get a light on the dash. There's also been speculation that if you knowingly remove your tpms sensors and have an accident because of a flat tire or blowout it could be your fault and be sued since tpms sensors are mandatory in all vehicles thanks to the gov'ment

My truck came w/ tpms (my 04) haven't had it for about 2 yrs (different wheels) no issues w/ the exception of the tpms dash light being on.. I can live with that tho lol
