What could it be?

GM TYF

I recently had my transmission and distributor along with my spark plugs cause they had gas on them changed and the truck is running fine but when I hit the gas it makes a rattling sound now a friend said it could be that the spark plugs was not gapped correctly so im here to get some more insight on what could the problem be

Wow! That was painful! I don't even know where to start. You had a transmission changed because it had gas on it? Dude, you gotta speak better English for me to understand ya

i should have left the transmission out lol but the distributor had gas in it is what my mechanic was telling me so he replaced it along with the sparkplugs

We need to use more punctuation I think! :D

Anywho, I too would first check the timing since the distributor was out. Validate that it's positioned correctly first then move on to other troubleshooting steps. If it's slightly out of position your vehicle will not run correctly.

gas in the distributor? Is your fuel line cracked spraying it down.Don't think that is possible without smelling it along the way.
