Looks good. I forget... It's there a reason why you haven't just taken the molding off?
Idiot before me had some paint work done and taped around the mouldings. So once taken off you see double where it was, and the guy I took it too took them off and painted over the double stick tape. Double whammy. Plus people are just inconsiderate, and bang their doors into my truck.
Looks good

Thx.
Now I just need to do the Tahoe on the rear hatch and remove the Chevrolet. Too much of a pita to tape around.

Oh yeah. I thought there had been a reason. Nice.

Finished up my tires and lift

How about this for a simple thread. I know a lot of us do simple stuff to our trucks everyday and we don't make a new thread for everything we do. So if you did something neat, simple, or just want to brag about a new cool piece you threw on your ride post it up. I figure this thread will also bring inspiration to others as well.

I'll start.....

Today I did some spring cleaning to the my '01 Tahoe. I washed it and cleaned out the inside. I also ordered some new JL audio speakers for the doors and front and rear Weathertech floor mats. I also put some sound deadening material in the doors.

Jack your post count up, and post away.

I still have my moldings on too. But I have a somewhat valid reason, I have kids. Lol I have seen then WAY too many times bang my door against a person, wall, or another vehicle and the molding took the hit and no damage was done. I have metal poles/columns under my carport and I can't tell you how many times my kids have banged a door into the pole. My wife actually ****** my driver's door up REALLY bad by backing my truck up with the door hanging open and the door hit the pole.

The smaller AC belt is a LOT easier if you slide under the truck and go at it from the bottom. And since I upgraded to Efans, I can easily reach it from the top now. The clutch fan does get in the way and makes it all a pain, especially the AC belt if you are trying to reach it from above. Once I realized that while it does take a few extra minutes to get situated underneath the truck, and to remove the skid plate, it's EXTREMELY easy compared to doing it from above.
Yeah, I looked at it from the bottom as the skid plate was off. However truck wasn't on a lift or stands, and it still seemed tight, especially couldn't figure how to get my ratchet from underneath into the ac tensioner due to transmission cooler lines. I think in the end I'm just an idjit.
