I’ve wanted to remove the Chevrolet on mine for a while, but afraid as old as it is I won’t be able to get all glue/tape off and would you still see the outline once removed. How do you recommend removing cleanly?

That's funny, mine was sticky as hell too. LOLThanks! I did this and applied a gasket adhesive also. It seems to be holding very well. I also must have had something that spilled on it previously as it seemed very sticky. A good cleaning fixed that problem thankfully so I was able to fix this for like $10 waay cheaper then replacing an otherwise perfectly good gasket.
It looked like sticky brown syrup type of stuff, probably a soda or something that was spilled years ago. But I used some Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and got it all clean.
Oh, and I got your fan harness today brother.
