They apparently like to eat them selfs original front differential is still working @ 200,000 miles so can’t complain
Yeah mine made it to 160k but apparently they don’t like WOT in reverse from a stop especially when you’re running a blower, cam etc. I snapped the housing in two and destroyed a cv joint. Dumb move trying to catch an a**hole who was throwing stuff at me from the side of the road.

Reminds me of those truck commercials....... After filming them flying through the mounds of dirt, the trucks are trashed !!

I’m just over replacing things multiple times on this truck that isn’t worth much anymore, replaced twice and if I go a third round that’s when the differential will take a **** with my luck. She’s getting a bit noisy the times coming one of these New York winters. Easy way to keep the fluid clean though a few pumps every few months haha

Haha that's the way I used to change the oil on a Dodge pickup I had. It leaked and burned about a quart a week so I figured there was no use changing it since it was getting new clean oil all the time anyway. :happy107:

Thought about extending my oil change intervals as well, pan leaks a little but not enough to leave a drip and I add 1.5 quarts or so every 3000 miles. Depending on season and towing seems to drink a bit more.

I should have clarified I didn’t care about that Dodge…

Topped off a 1/4 tank of fuel with e85: 19.6 gallons @ $2.799. Went from 51% ethanol to 72%.
