Ok. Parts list for my upcoming upgrades.. This is all due to my original 4L60E with now 224k on it, and a leaking rear main.. I had to do some things "while we're in there"... scope creep...?

✅Knock sensors
✅Knock sensor harness.. p/n: 12601822
✅Spark plugs -OEM double plat: 41-962
✅Water pump: 12703898 ✅gasket

I'm trying to determine if I've covered all the bases.. I wanted to do the intake as well, but just don't have the time to research, and figure out a parts list for the NNBS intake I have sitting here.. (along with a fuel rail..) so that will be later on. If y'all can think of anything I've missed, I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

Here's 222299K, because I'm too damn busy racking up the miles and completely missed the 222222.. :( And, the view from the front window of my temporary residence in the am..

Are you leaving your bottom end together?

Be specific on which pump Sam. We have seen a couple of guys put aluminum block pumps on their iron motors and have trouble for whatever reason and visa versa, or so we were told!
It’s a Melling high volume. Didn’t see any need for higher pressure, and she currently runs 38psi at hot idle.

Well, just make sure the part number is right, there's more than one Melling High Volume pump for LS motors out there. I'm not a fan of higher pressure or volume either for street cars.

I joined the 200k mile club this morning on the way to work...
Needle on the speedo is off by 7 mph and the gas gauge is a little more than 1/8 higher than actual. The PO didn't get the needles in the right spot when the white cluster decals were applied. I use the DIC estimate on miles left in the tank and don't go down to less than 50 miles remaining before filling up.

I like the white gauges. Very visible. I sometimes turn on my lights during the day because I can't read my gauges.

Taking the cluster out to adjust your needles is a pretty straightforward.

On my list for a day off when weather is nice. I need to fix the two needles and solder the PRNDL connections. I go by feel on shifting, but it might be nice to see I am in R and not N, when trying to shift too quickly during a 3-point in traffic.
