New lights

Bought these for the Black truck and the were to Shinny, too much chrome made the light stand out WAY too much. So put them on the white one and looks much nicer on that truck.image1.jpg

Small improvment. I know I could have plasta dip them but couldn't be bothered, And the white truck needs all the help it can get.

how the sockets plug in isn't very good. You have to strech the wire to the max to get it to plug in. For the money of these things they should be ALOT better.

We took a 450 mile trip from Colorado to Nebraska and I have to say... the Avery vinyl held up much better than I thought. Hell it was harder to clean paint when it was bombarded with sand and bugs.
All I did to clean it was use the spot free rinse only at the car wash, I used a microfiber cloth rinsed off excessively just for the bug guts and windows and used a big microfiber towel to dry it!

Very happy because I didn't know what to expect, I at least thought the vinyl would be stained from the 2 day old dried up bug guts and shit.

Figured they'd be okay for 30 bucks for 4. Gotta put the reverse bulbs in tomorrow. Def seem bright enough and the color is what I wanted. The sockets are getting brittle. Those bulbs were hot. Maybe less heat will keep mine from being the average gmt800 with one out

EDIT one of the four bulbs doesn't light up all the way. I'm replacing the DRLs with some Aaron's I ordered. The originals did seem to get hot, so maybe not the best choice for DRL, but should be fine for reverse lights that aren't on for hours. Amazon gave me my money back of course though, so no biggie.

EDIT #2 - The Aaron's are very bright. They are a little brighter than the original ones i got. However, they didn't fit my DRL sockets. Close inspection revealed they were a smidge wider base than the old ones or the original halogens base. I took a VERY sharp chisel and carefully shaved them to fit, didn't feel like messing with this any more. Will report if they burn out in a few days like the JDM ones did.
