Removed the rubber coating that was peeling from console face. It's getting dark so I'll have to get the rest another day

Did the same thing using a pressure washer, flew right off. I dipped it using anthracite plasti dip and it's a pretty close match to the color and texture from the factory and much cheaper than replacing them.

I used brake cleaner to remove that gross rubber crap and painted it with dark grey interior spray paint.

Hope your enjoying your beautiful weather! Instead of protecting an HD hood I should wrap my whole truck like that to protect it from salt and mag chloride. :)

Yeah man. No complaints with our weather down here. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that nasty road grime that you guys do.

The paper is off. Here's the HD hood pics.

@05alive what did you use (brand)to spray it and where can I get it? I'd like to do it to mine and at the same time repaint the dash, tiny little spots are missing paint.

Just finished up a bunch of stuff:

Electric Fan swap
Big 3 Battery Cables Upgrade
145 Amp Alternator
New Radiator
New Water pump
New thermostat
New Upper & lower radiator hoses
New Serpentine and AC belts
New Serp and AC belt tensioners/pulleys
New Idler pulley
New air filter
Cleaned MAF sensor and throttle body

(Figured I might as well freshen up all that stuff while I had the front of the engine open)

Finished my 2nd sub install (already have Bose). Factory rear box, Pioneer 8" shallow mount speaker, Kenwood mini amp, JL panel-mounted, color matched grille. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but I still have a bit of tuning to do. I think it matches the door speaker grilles a lot better than the factory molded one.

Very nice, ya hated that factory thing. Seat doesn't interfere with the grill? Looks like it still out a bit in the pic.

Not too bad. I had cut the hole for a different grille before I found the JL. Hole is slightly bigger than ideal for the new one. Seat touches it a little, but doesn't hurt it.
