If they go with a similar Enhanced carry permit concept like ID and a lot of other states now, the reciprocity is very broad (includes NV). Only the most progressive states are excluded (or I guess better said, exclude themselves), like CA, ILL, etc. OR just requires you to bring your enhanced course certificate and their forms to get it issued.Figures.
I was planning to get my AZ permit a while back in order to have the ability to carry in NV.
But NV reversed their ruling and quietly put UT back on the approved list.
We also have permitless carry here in UT, people think that the plan is to raise the requirement for a permit here in order to give us better reciprocity.
I'm hoping that's the case.
If i end up visiting OR often, then i'll look at the requirements to have a valid permit there.
Edit, it may be that OR permit is issued with the above paperwork, if you are a border state. Not sure if it is as easy for non border states.
