Definitely more aggressive tread.
Including the sidewalls.
Turns out, tires are a lot shorter after 50,000mi.

Dated only a month before my original purchase date. (first week of may)
Already cancelled my order through summit.

Pictures don’t do it justice, it’s 3 dimensional. You have to see it in person. At one point I needed a matching headlight cowl because I changed things on the bike and at first I tried having one hydro dipped but it looked despicable next to the real thing. Luckily I found a company that was making them. View attachment 349218

I had some POS at work that got fired slash all 4 of my tires because I was the last manager on duty even though I had nothing to do with it. Karma is a ***** though. He is pushing mushrooms out of the ground last I heard.

Guy that messed with my vette died recently.
I still don't know what happened, but from what i read they are cremating him cleaning him with fire and spreaded his ashes a few weeks ago (or maybe that was a few weeks from now).

Wife i think will let me know when i can start jumping up and clicking my heels, and doing little dances and making up songs.
For now i have to be "I'm sure he is in a better place" (with fire!)

(lord forgive me, I know it's too soon to poke fun at it :banghead: )

So while on the subject...
I kept thinking about my tahoe
and the weird material, that's nearly identical to the last engine.

Thinking "if", then "how"?!

I looked pretty solid at the hood latch, and noticed it looked like i could pop it with a screw driver.
So i tried.
Yup!
Stupid easily.
alarm seems to only go off if i lock it with the key fob.
and one test it didn't go off after locking it with the keyfob.

More testing is probably needed, but i'm thinking it needs a little plate IN front of the latch for good measure.

Other way: oil filter.
but that would take some planning and work to not leave a drop in my driveway.
And something i could see him doing...

anyways...

Tonight’s latest development was a click-no-crank after hitting the car wash. I did not clean under the hood, but I did work ******* the wheel wells to dislodge a bunch of hard clay.

I could hear a loud click at each attempt, but no crank. Raised the hood to let it dry and spent a few minutes looking for an implement that I could use to bang on the starter without laying in all the wet mud under it. Cranked on the first try after a 3-5 minute wait. Never touched a thing.

What’s the top two suspects? I need to procure and carry spares because if she won’t crank in the outback it’s a big deal. Battery is a new AGM. Cables *look* good.

I‘m thinking starter and starter relay? Although in a pinch as long as the starter is good I can crank it with a jumper cable.
