Well, changed the leaking water pump, thermostat, and cracked radiator.
All aluminum radiator from Alloyworks 3 row for $300. It’s 1-3/4” thick versus stock 1” on my LTZ with K5L cooling. Stock rad seemed very slim for “heavy duty cooling”. When I had to use the Tahoe to tow my 7500 lb travel trailer in the mountains it hit 3/4 on the coolant temp which I imagine is over 240?? Hopefully this will be better.

Hauled family to and from restaurant for our birthdays. Watched all the lunatics speed past and either crash into each other, into the water or get pulled over by the cops. Busy night for police and fire on the highway, never seen so many fire engines on the highway (I-95) at one time on such a short stretch of road. Crazy.

Even crazier, my sister is considering a Chevy to replace her Kia! Someone call the Guiness Book of World Records!

I think you'll really like the bigger radiator. My temps when pulling have held around 190 with my 3" radiator.

Checked for a leak in the air-lifts. Thought perhaps I'd stretched them a little too much while jacking things up to attach the bars on the WDH during the western trek but after finding one of the nipples at the top of the bags loose - and replacing it as best as possible, it's still leaking slowly. Not going to pull them out; the leak isn't that large that they can't be used by topping them up each day I'm towing but I may want an additional solution.

Anyone have experience with Timbren or Sumo Spring bumps for towing?
