Also did the other side valve cover gasket (passenger side), which was my main leaker that recently started. Not sure I have ever identified and corrected an issue in such a quick turnaround before; dry January has given me so much energy! Lmao.

This side had a bit less of the burned oil staining on the drivers side I did ~2 weeks ago. Unsure why that is, perhaps PCV-related system impacting the drivers side? Install was easy, I left on the oil filler neck and did not have to remove any coolant lines or heater hoses to get out.

Did the new bushings get rid of any noises or clunks that you had?
I want to do the sway bar bushing in mine soon.
I have no noises yet but I know they are a common wear item.
Yep! I had started getting squeaks over speed bumps once the weather turned colder. No more. I had this issue before on two other vehicles and it was the same solution.

funny, it hasn't been really cold here since I got this yukon, and today I went over a speed bump like holy crap a squeaky old truck haha. nothing when it's warm. looks like sway bar bushing in my future.
It was -24* in Wyoming where my Yukon lives but I have not been there in a few weeks to drive it.
The old lady did not mention anything about any new noises, but then again, she was too busy griping about the cold. :p

You’re bringing back memories of working on drilling rigs in Baggs and Wamsutter in the winter. Serious cold.
