Went to a local shop known for its work in my area, I asked them for several quotes on some things I want to do to my truck both now and things I plan on for the future. Here are the prices the gave me, if anyone knows of a cheaper or even a DIY way of doing any of these please let me know:
1. Get all the wood grain painted black. THE REAL WAY! not the stick on or anything actual sanding, priming, painting, clear coating. $150
2. Suede Headliner and pillllars. -$1000
3. Remove and paint grill trim- $100 (this is the one I want to DIY! that price was sooooo rediculous i almost laughed in the guys face!!!!) anyone with a yukon know how to pull this trim off and paint it????
4. Mcgaughys rear leveling kit with air bag helpers. -$400 (NOT INSTALLED JUST THE 2 KITS)
5.Volant super stips. -$100 ($200 powder coated black with high heat powder coat)
I know some of the things sound reasonable and others dont, so the reason I post this is to get anyone on here who did one of these mods by them selves and can give me some info on how to do it. THIS IS FOR AN 08 YUKON BTW!
