The owners manual says to see the dealer for info .
Then, I would suggest that you check with your dealer, to ensure that you have the correct fluids and associated part numbers. Then, you can shop for price elsewhere.

I would just contact GM customer support and request that information in writing.

Too many reports I’ve read over the years of dealers not being up to speed and using outdated information.

The transfer case takes synthetic ATF (like Dextrin 6).

I don't think you will find a spec for the diff's in the owners manual because GM doesn't have a change interval spec for the diff's.

On another forum a guy who identified himself as a retired GM engineer posted that there is not change interval for their diff fluid because GM expects the fluid that came in the diff to last the life of the diff. Unfortunately, he never stated what GM thought the life of the diff was. Of course, this is the internet, so that same self identified retired GM engineer might be self identifying as a male French model on other forums, Bonjour... :)

If I needed diff fluid, I would put a name brand synthetic 75W90 in and sleep like a baby.

Holy crap, are you kiddin' me. Cheap turds will not include the fluid requirements for new vehicles? I had no idea. Take it you don't want to contact dealer.
Yep , no info about axle or transfer case fluid in owners manual . I guess they want you to buy it there at a inflated price . I looked and there are about 5 different types of gear oil GM has for sale and one has a grape scent . GM does not make oil , it is just someone else’s product in their bottles . And yes I don’t want to drive there and pick it up because it is a 45 minute trip each way . I am doing some towing and want to change fluids after I am done .

FWIW (pretty sure what you are paying for it), on my 2007 Yukon, which towed a 5K enclosed trailer pretty much every mile for its first 60K and while I do change my transmission and transfer case fluids on GM's "severe" schedule, I have never touched my diff's and have never heard a peep.
