OK, help the new guy out, What is the big three that some of you have been talking about and what will it do for my Hoe. I know it has something to do with the alternator/battery but I don't understand completely.

Thanks Jonathan

Looks like the intended purpose is for amps. I won't be doing that but I do plan on a dual battery system with a larger output alternator for winch, efans, other misc items and just for the peace of mind of always having the ability to start my Hoe using power from the auxiliary battery if necessary.

Would the Big 3 be beneficial for this?

The Big 3 is changing the stock wires for larger gauge wire for better electrical current. Typically people use 0 gauge. You replace the power wire from the alternator to battery and the ground wires from the battery negative to the chassis and the chassis to the block. My truck is the NNBS and they went straight from the negative battery terminal to the block so that might be something that might need to be modified. It's not strictly for car audio. It will upgrade your entire electrical system. If you have dimming, it should help that. It's a fairly simple upgrade and can be done yourself. There's a nice write up by Modded in the Tech section. He goes through the entire process with pics, tools, and needed items. If you have the OBS, it might be a little different but I think it should give you a good idea of what to expect.
