What is the black box on the floor inside the center console?

What is it? Can it be relocated (safely)? My guess is it’s an airbag module..... I tried to look up the part number with no luck. My plan is to install my amps under there, but with that in the way i just won’t possibly have the clearance to stack them and make them fit. I think if I can unbolt that I can move it and make a mount for it on top of the bottom amp all the way by the firewall under the radio/dash portion.
Thoughts?

That is an airbag module. If I’m not mistaken, it is part of the system that senses if there is someone in the passenger seat.

Yes upon searching some more I see that it’s the SRS module. I just don’t know if it has sensors or something like that in it and/or if it’s safe to relocate. Of course the one thing in my way would have to be a damn safety device! Lol

If I understand it properly, it doesn’t have any sensors in it but it processes the signal from the seat occupancy sensor to determine if the passenger airbag is active or not.
