what is the point of installing E-FANS

im just curious what to reason behind installing E-FANs is
with my stereo i dont need anything else pulling current so thered have to be some significant benefit

Frees up some HP. Less drag via pulleys and a mechanical fan uses a lot of energy to move air in traffic.

Like mentioned, no engine drag from turning the fan, cools down the truck faster, ice cold A/C ALL the time, opens up some engine compartment space due to the electric fan setup being thinner and less bulky! Will draw more voltage when running and can be louder at times than the belt driven fan but all in all def worth it in the end!

Depends on how you go about doing it. New fan, about $250+ the cost of the wiring harness, about $100. Or find it used and get the OEM harness and then you have to have the Efans enabled in the ECM

From your post, I'm guessing this is a factory item on some vehicles? What harness do you need? What fan setup? Sorry, new guy, new Tahoe.
