What is the Z82 Trailering Package?

Looking at a Tahoe build sheet with "Z82: Trailering Package". Is that Max Trailering or Advanced trailering? The same sheet has:

KNP: Transmission Cooling System
KC4: Cooler, Engine Oil

Not sure whether either of those is indicative of the towing package or not.

Z82 means you have a hitch. KC4 and KNP are nice to have, they allow the drivetrain to shed more heat which allows the vehicle to tow more. If your Tahoe can pull about 8000 pounds, you have all the features necessary to do so, check your towing sticker in the door jamb.

Thanks. So without any trailering packages, does the standard LT Tahoe come with a hitch that can be used for towing light-weight stuff? Bike racks, utility trailers, etc. What's the capacity of the vehicle without any special package/cooler?

I would say that you have the 8200 pound rating, but to be sure, look for the silver sticker in the door jamb on the B-pillar. Yes, a standard Tahoe can easily handle bike racks and trailers to at least 5k pounds.
