what reverse hid lights do i need

I have a 07 tahoe just blacked out my taillights i orderd the 15k hid for my headlights what reverse hid will i need what is the brightest setup for this and should i change any of my other taillight bulbs to something brighter thanks and where can i find these at the place i order the other hid lights didnt have reverse hid lights

Yall are using hids for reverse lights? Wouldnt that take too long to light up and or potentially melt the tail light? Usually tail lights are plastic bc they dont need to withstand the heat like headlights.

I've had mine (6000k HIDs in reverse lights) for almost a year and have 0 melting problems. Once I left them on for 5 minutes straight and did not have any problems.

I have 8k HID reverse lights in my G4 LED tails and they work great. No melting at all. Plus when I put it in reverse the light comes AUTOMATICALLY on, but it gradually gets brighter... unnecessarily brighter... so i'm glad it's not full strength right when I put it in reverse because it is BRIGHT.. which was exactly what I was going for!

I have 6k with a switch and Ive had them on for 10min. Granted the lights got really hot.
