What tires and what size??

hey guys i am looking to buy some new tires for my 08 Tahoe LT with 20 in stock rims! im stuck between BFG AT and Nitto Terra Grapplers. i love the BFG but my only downside on them is that they are EXPENSIVE....especially the 285/65/20. what would yall prefer and if i went with the 275/65/20 on the BFG would they look wimpy???

i saw an 08 Tahoe LT today with 275/60/20 on stock 20's...it didnt look wimpy at all...it actually looked really good...i just wish i could remember the brand of tires

I am in the same boat. I have the ltz rims on a z71 and any tire I look is expensive. The cheapest I have seen that most people have are the nittos. I also hear that they are great tires and people seem to love them. Several people on the site have them on. The BFGs are great...and I love them..but I think you are just paying for the name. I would say that they compare to a nitto or the procomps and others..

So I guess it is just how much you are willing to spend. But all in all I think any a/t tire is going to look nice on a tahoe. Just my opinion...

Yes Zed, i have a CCM 2.5"/1" leveling kit and i am goin to install OEM fender flares soon.
