Supposedly, from what I've researched, this size you mention above should be a primo fit with a 22x9.5 rim.

I'm looking hard at a set of Black Rhino Pondora in 22x9.5 for my 1997 Hoe 4x4 and have talked to Black Rhino a couple times about what will fit my truck in the 22" size.

Twice, I was told that a +25mm offset would be what I need, and that +30mm offset was for the newer body style hoes.

Now I gotta ask you folks, does 5 freaking mm make that much of a difference in fit between these two wheels? LOL

5mm is what, 1/5th of an inch, or probably about 3/16"?

I would think the further one can tuck the wheel, the better it will look.
This is my biggest worry, of buying a $2500+ set of wheels and tires, and having them jut out of the wheel wells like some ghetto-mobile with the rubber band tires.

Now the set of mint used BR Pondora I almost bought about a month ago in 22x9.5 had a +25mm offset and were installed on a 2007 Yukon Denali by Discount Tire.

So, I'm thinking either BR or Discount Tire made an err, or something else, when BR themselves told me the NBS SUV's should be fitted with the +30mm offset wheel for this model wheel, and model-year vehicle?

I had noted this particular wheel with +25mm Offset did "tuck" quite nicely on this woman's 2007 Yukon Denali, but I'm guessing there might be some other reasons as to why, as the NBS trucks-SUVs have a different width-stance, or a body that is wider than the older OBS to cause such?

I was hoping for a similar neater tucked look as well, and would hope such a wheel would fit within the fenderwells better than the existing 16x8.5 wheel I'm currently running on my '97 Hoe. with 275/70-16 Michelin LTX Tires.

The Tires she had on board her 22x9.5 BR Pondoras, were the Nitto NT420S in 305/40-22, and this was a concern to me, thinking that this Tire just might have been a little too much in height-diameter, and maybe as well in width?

I had noticed some very slight rub on her own Denali, at the outer rear of the front fenderwells, and was figuring I'd most likely experience the same on my 97 hoe?
On the Denali, this area is black plastic, but not so on the older OBS, the fender lips in that area are steel.

This might possibly have meant after buying-fitting these wheels-tires she had, I'd be either looking at cranking the bejesus out of the stock Torsion Bars, or needing a new set of leveling Torsion Bar Keys? And those were two things I didn't wish to do to my own truck, was open a huge cans of worms with fit issues.

Now if you were to take a look at my Hoe, I think you'll all agree, with a miserable 16x8.5 wheel, I'm looking like some ghetto hooptie with this current setup, which honestly, I never liked the day after I had them put on. I think I was stiffed by a dumb dealer is what happened that fateful day.

I gather that the wheel stance-width on these Hoes is actually wider at the front, than the rear, correct? Does this idea somehow make the vehicle run straighter-truer down the road? LOL Maybe so, and maybe not?

Chevy engineers, after Duntov, and Yunick left, turned to shit IMO.

I'm being told "chrome" is the way to go again, and I'm not so sure about this?

Yeah, I see a zillion vehicles here a day, SUVs, Trucks, cars, which have chrome wheels and they look sweet but most late model SUV's and trucks don't have one ounce of chrome on them from the factory. The factories have duped the American public, by sticking painted plastics, front, rear, and everywhere else on a vehicle.

Who do I blame? The Japanese! Yep, they, and the Asian market seem to often control the horizontal, and the vertical, they sneeze, and America catches a cold.

And at $50K to $70K prices, I have to say "no thank you", I'm gonna keep the jar of Vaseline at home today.

I'm still thinking the Painted Silver, with clear coated and polished spoke faces and rim (and a very nice rim the BR Pondora has!)

A little more sophistication, and maturity, hell I'm not 20 anymore, I'm 59.

Some friends have also suggested no chrome, due to carjacking, or theft. Hell, here in NM, I ain't worried about such, I have two good friends, "Mr Smith, and Mr Wesson"!
