I'm in the process of sorting out my 05 4x4 hoe after the 3/4 drop and I'm concerned about the clearance from the axle to tailpipe. What Are you guys doing? I don't really want to dump the tailpipe since this is the wives DD.

When I had my flowmaster put on I had the exhaust shop cut the hangers and moved my pipe up as much as they could and re weld. So far haven't had any problems and looks great with my chrome tip

You can run the exhaust after the muffler close to the body away from the axle, then come back down after the axle to do your tip. Mid way through the exhaust system it's cooled down enough it won't cause problems being 2" or so next to the body. Any good exhaust shop will have a good idea of what to do.
