what year & model barn door will fit 99 Yukon Denali?

I have a 1999 Yukon Denali. An accident requires me to replace the passenger side barn door and window. I think I can use a door from a Chevy Suburban or Tahoe in addition to the Yukon, I am searching salvage yards and I want to know what models and years will work?

Are there there any differences from other models or years? Or should any barn door from any Yukon, Suburban or Tahoe work? Did I overlook any other models that would work?

Does anyone know where there is a list of compatible models & years?

Yes they will fit BUT you have that extra plastic trim on the outside ,you will have to cut
the hinge pins to remove the door there's no unbolting the door and make sure the glass
looks the same as yours. good luck

thanks for the reply. I will keep that in mind.... found a door and am picking it up this morning.


Since you know about replacing barn doors..... do you know how to adjust the other doors? I guess over time the weight (they are very heavy) has caused some doors to drop slightly and when I close them they don't completely catch and securely close. If I slam they do or if I consciously lift up slightly and close they do. They are hitting just slightly below the catch. I remember reading somewhere about the bushings wearing out over time. Looking at the hinges.... I can see specifically on the back doors, what looks like bushings, but they seem to be metal and they seem to be crushed flatter than rice paper, and partially squeezed out of the hinge location. But I don't see the same type of "bushing" on the side doors.
