I used to run a DeltaFlow 50/SUV (2.5" DI/DO) muffler exiting at the rear... nice, mellow rumble for sure. The note is not obnoxious and shouldn't annoy the neighbors, but they'll hear you coming/going.

I've since changed to a 2.5" DI / 3.5" SO Magnaflow mandrel bent cat-back. I like the Magnaflow better as it's a bit quieter at cruise and has a higher flow rate.

Welcome to the forum!! I run the 40 series flowmasters on my hoe and love the sound of it. They exit out the sides behind the rear tires. They have a nice deep sound but they do get a little loud when you really stomp on it. But at normal operating rpms they are nice

Anyone have some part numbers? Wanting to run either magnaflows or borla on my 2 door tahoe 2wd. Are the stock inlets 2.5 or 2.25?

I have a Borla ProXS on mine and I absolutely love the sound. Pretty quiet on idle, and when you step on it, its got a nice growl that's not too loud. Compared to my old Moroso glasspacks this muffler is 100x better.

You'll ge an assortment of answers based on personal preference. I prefer flowmaster due to the tone they put out but magnaflows are good as well as well as some other brands. I'd encourage you to research via YouTube as well and find the sound you're after and go with that :waytogo:
