What's an '11 Yukon worth??

Hey, I have a friend of a friend who is selling a 2011
Pearl white Yukon SLT. It is loaded with eveything.
It has 40k miles. He said make him an offer.
He will probably just trade it in if I dont buy it.
I was thinking of offering him 30k. I figure they would
probably give him about 29k on a trade.
His '15 is being built this week I believe.

Any thoughts?

Ask him what they will give him on trade in and give him $1000 more than that...

Anyone can look on NADA or KBB and get estimates on prices.

From what I gather dealers go by Black Book value ... find out what that is and offer them slightly more. The only problem is that to use the Black Book valuator on any GM dealer site you have to enter your details and then you get phone calls from the sales people at that dealership.

He won't get that much. I paid less than that for my 2010 Esky although it did have 80k miles on it.

The best deal would be to have him work out a trade with the dealer and you buy it from the dealer on a pass through. This way he gets the tax savings. Then be a nice friend and write him a check for $500-1000 or something on top.
