What's An Engine Cooler?

What's an engine cooler? I need a new radiator and need to order the right one. I see what I believe is the transmission cooler.

Unless your came with a factory optioned auxiliary transcooler your probably looking at the a/c fins. I'm not sure if they all came with this option but the radiator cools the engine coolant, transmission fluid and engine oil. Take a look at your radiator you should see the 2 main upper and lower coolant hoses. On one side you will see 2 small lines hooked up. If you see 2 small lines (4 total) on both sides you need the radiator that has hookups for everything. Or just buy the radiator with all possible connections and plug the ones you don't use. Regardless even if you have an auxiliary transcooler it will still flow through the radiator then the auxiliary cooler.

the engine cooler is built into the radiators left side tank cap and is used to maintain safe oil temps.
