whats the radio "static eliminator" thing called

every time i try to listen to the radio i just get a ton of static on the stations that i like. Isnt there something you can put in that gets rid of the static? i cant remember the name of it.

Maybe you should check the connection on your antenna. Could have wiggled loose or something. As to your post, I have no idea.

Is it on AM of FM? As suggested above, I would check the antenna wire too.

Connections are solid.... and thanks Jae hahaha i was close to using that tool a couple times. A kid from work told me he put something in that got rid of all his static but i forgot his number and barely ever work with him so havent been able to ask him. Ill check out the suggestions on those links though. Thanks again

No prob Luke. Also, try to check the continuity from the antenna plug to the actual antenna. It's possible there's a break in the line.
