Wheels: 20's to 22's - need help

New here and thought I'd ask for some help.

I'm picking up a 16 Yukon XL Denali next week, and it has factory 20's, and I want to go to 22's

1) What width are the factory 22's? Is that what most people are getting?
2) What size is the factory tire, and it that what is recommended?
3) If I don't want to remove the TPMS from the stock wheels, and buy a new set, can I (or the tire shop) reprogram them, or does a dealer need to do that?

Any help/advice is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Here is what i did with my swap.

Went to http://www.shopchevyparts.com/ - purchased CK164 22" wheels, and TPMS.

Then purchased Bridgestone Dueler Alenza PLus 285/45/R22 tires from Discount tires

Took it my local high performance shop to install and mount and program the sensors. Make sure the shop has a good mounting machine that doesn't scratch the wheels.

3. You can get tpms senors on ebay for a cheaper price that are oem and any decent tire shop can program them for you...

I have been researching this also.

What tires does everyone like and use the most?

Seems the Bridgestone Dueler and Nitto 420S are popular. Anyone using anything different on here or recommend anything else?

Considering all the OEM tire balance issues, seems there would be other options...

im running the toyo open country HT 285/45r22 and love them, but i needed something that i can drive in the snow and some off road so they may not be what you are looking for. And as far as the pressure sensor, i went with the AC delcos from rock auto, there are cheaper options on ebay, but if they fail you have to pay to dismount the tire to replace them and then where are the savings? $50 per wheel from a reputable company im ok with, but just my two cents....

Love the traction of the Nitto 420s, but they are LOUD.

I'd check out Tony's section for deals on 22's as well. No reason to pay for OE stuff from GM:

Bought the 285/45/22 tires, now looking for wheels.

Does anyone know:
1) What is the width of the factory wheels? 9", 9.5"
2) What bolt pattern for lug nuts? Looking to buy black lugs to match

If anyone is interested, Discount Tire via Ebay is running a special of $100 off a $400 tire purchase. I bought Continental tires for $183 each, and there is also a $70 rebate on a set of 4. The discount can be used more than once, so I bought 2X the listing for 2 tires.
