Where does this front axle line go?

The first photo is front drivers side. The second photo shows the broken opposing end.

I have checked in my repair manual, and can't find what it is for or where it is supposed to hookup to.

I just got this Yukon Denali and have been trying to learn and repair as much as I can on it.:dogpile:

Been lurking around and reading. I've got the new spider assembly and the intake gasket upgrade planned for tomorrow!

That is the vent line. The broken piece is just a vent cap. It does not connect to anything

unknown at this time.
No worries, it is your vent hose for the front axle. However it is not supposed to be hanging down there. It normally just routes up along side the radiator to keep it high off the ground. It also looks like the end piece is broken. Available from dealers for a few dollars. Part #gm 25892279

Thank yous.

I gotta take another trip to the wrecking yard here. They have a '99 Denali there!

The guy I got this from hit a Deer with it, and did some front drivers side damage. I have repaired most of it, just got the bumper assembly and fog light left to do!
