There is a setting on my '05 Tahoe to set the doors to lock by speed. I have an awesome idea (trust me, this is good!) but need to find out how I can tie into that wire. Any idea where it would be? I just tried looking online and even in the Haynes manual, but no luck.
Anyway, the reason I'm doing this is so I can setup a rear view (backup) camera and front/rear sonar sensors -- of course with a great how-to guide for anyone here that is interested.
I got a nice backup camera and monitor for $80 and 4 sonar wires with sound and distance thingy for $30.
What I am looking to do is tie in the parking sensors to the relay that locks the doors. Mine close at 10mph, so this would be great to shut off the sonar sensors. The rear view would be setup and triggered based on the reverse lights -- this is almost identical to my BMW and makes me very happy
So, any clue where I would tie into that at? Or is it even called a relay?
