Where to run wire through firewall?

Drill a hole and buy a bushing/grommet that matches the size of the wire gauge.

Above the brake pedal to the left a bit there is a factory hole where all the main wiring comes through. If you look up there you'll see it. It's big enough to get most wiring through. It comes out below the master cylinder in the engine bay.

Just dont OO gauge threw there it's a *****.. Oh and cooking spray helps lube the wire to go threw the grommet. It's double sided

Depending on the number of wires and their size you might be able to tap into the secondary OEM grommet between the brake and gas pedals like I did. You may be able to do the same.

thanks, its only an 8 gauge for an amp but im going to take a look there the next chance i get! very much appreciated

If it is an 8 gauge scratch my first idea.
Run it thought the firewall grommet that holds the ignition harness wires as recommended above.
That's where I ran my 8 gauge to my amp.
